Countries along the Belt and Road Workshop on Science Park, Business Incubator Planning, Construction and Administration
We would like to invite our counterparts from countries along the Belt and Road to participate in this workshop, which will be held in Shanghai on December 9th – December 23rd, 2018.
OBJECTIVE
The workshop is aiming to share the Chinese experience on planning, construction and administration of science parks and business incubators with the partners fromcountries along the Belt and Road;strengthen the mutual understanding on the policies supporting the development of hi-tech industry in both China and countriesalong the Belt and Road; explore the opportunities for further cooperation not only on the science parks and business incubators, but also on the innovation compelling the development of the industries and economies.
CONTENTS
The workshop consists of lectures, case study on Chinese science parks and incubators. The topics for these lectures will be about the macro view over the policy system supporting the hi-tech industries, the framework of the administration over the science parks and business incubators, the organization of the administrative body over on science parks and business incubators, and daily operation of the science park and business incubator improvement. The workshop will also host the round table discussion and field trips on the science parks, business incubators and tenant companies.
EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS
It is expected to have about 25 participants from countries along the Belt and Road, including government officials, experts, managers from business incubators, science parks and entrepreneurs in the field of innovation & technology.
APPLICATION NOTICE
Applicants shall meet the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or above; a minimum of 3 years’ working experience.

Capable of speaking and writing in English.

Government officials, experts, managers in the relevant field of innovation & technology cooperation and international business incubator/science park management and age under 45 years old.

With a health certificate provided by authorized physician or hospital.
-
It is recommended to have medical insurance before coming to China.
Notes:
l Please submit the attached Application Form with your resume and organization introduction by EMAIL by October 25th, 2018.
l It is preferred to prepare and send us the presentations on innovation & technology cooperation and international business incubator/science park management/development in your country or region by November 23rd, 2018 since we will arrange to share experiences among the participants during the workshop.
EXPENSES
Participants shall pay for the round trip international flight tickets by themselves.
